Former Nottingham Forest boss Steve McClaren feels he will have to return to Europe to resume his career.
The Guardian says the former Manchester United No2 is all but resigned to resuming his managerial career overseas after stepping down at Forest only 111 days after he took over. Those close to the former England manager, who resigned as Forest manager after five league defeats in six matches, accept that his opportunities will be few and far between unless he moves abroad again.
McClaren previously managed FC Twente in the Netherlands, where he won the Eredivisie in his second season, and also spent eight months in charge of the German side Wolfsburg.
