Former Fiorentina sports chief Claudio Nassi has taken aim at Chelsea midfielder Marko Marin.
Marin's loan with Fiorentina was cut short yesterday so he could move to Anderlecht in a similar deal.
Nassi told TMW: "The idea is always the same. You cannot have squads of 34-35 players. I hope Fiorentina see and learn from this. I hope that at the end of the market the team has a list of twenty players. It would benefit (Vincenzo) Montella, the team and the club.
"Fiorentina are a great club and should take players with a capital C. It must look at young prospects who never give up, looking at the quality and not the quantity."
Asked if Marin was not a player with a capital C, Nassi added: "If he was, he would have played ..."
