Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson's claims that English football should be getting more from international television rights have been dismissed.
Brian Barwick, the former FA chief executive and TV sport executive, admitted that football is now 'super-reliant' on television. But he pointed out that United have prospered more than most from the relationship.
Barwick said: "Manchester United have almost had a lion's share of TV revenue and it has helped build a fantastic stadium and pack Sir Alex's teams with star players."
