Former FA chairman David Bernstein insists England are capable of winning next year's World Cup.
Successor Greg Dyke has made winning the World Cup in 2022 a target for England.
Bernstein told the London Evening Standard: "Who says we can't win? Greece won the European Championship in 2004 - that was considered impossible. Denmark won the Euros in 1992. If they could come off the beach and win, then we could win."
