Former Everton star Pat Nevin is delighted for Steven Naismith over his current form.
Naismith has impressed for Everton and Scotland this season.
Nevin told evertontv: "I've been watching Steven Naismith for such a long time up in Scotland - he is a superb player. A lot of people asked me, 'is he going to make it at Everton?' and I said to everyone 'relax, don't worry you've got a player here'.
"People don't realise - or didn't realise if they don't watch him every week - he's actually very quick, technically very good and exceptional in the air.
"You can put him wide, you can put him as the single man up front but his best position is probably just off the front in the midfield area. All those positions he can do at the top level.
"He's a special talent and he's one of those players who will go under a lot of radars. In fact, he's doing so well that he's almost being noticed on Match of the Day!"
