Former Everton striker Kevin Campbell is delighted seeing Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney back to his best.
Campbell wrote in the Daily Star Sunday: "From the day I saw him first-hand breaking through at Everton, it was clear this guy was rather special.
"And his goals record since he announced himself as a 16-year-old star in the making - with that stunner against Arsenal - ends all argument and debate.
"Yet still we hear critics complain Wazza cannot be that good because he has never delivered on the biggest stage of all - at a World Cup finals.
"That's true - at this moment. But I can't wait for Brazil 2014 to start and for my former team-mate to silence the doubters."
