Motherwell chiefs could reward manager Stuart McCall with a brand new contract it has been reported.
The former Bradford City, Everton and Rangers midfielder is set to sign a lucrative deal which will keep he, and assistant Kenny black, at Fir Park for a lengthy amount of time.
"We're speaking to Stuart and Kenny and we're optimistic something will be sorted soon," said Well chief Leeann Dempster.
"They enjoy working here and we want them to stay.
"I'm hopeful something will be finalised in the next few weeks."
McCall signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Motherwell in December 2010 but is set to be rewarded for last season's third-placed finish and the clubs good form in this campaign so far.
