Former Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen has told Werder Bremen fans he's no Cristiano Ronaldo.

Klaassen knows there's big expectations after his €13.5m arrival.

The Dutchman told Kicker: "It is not good to put all the pressure on one player. Maybe on Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, but I am not a Messi or Ronaldo.

"I want to win, that's what it's all about. It is always important to win the first game, that gives you certainty.

"Europe is possible. Nobody wants to play for place twelve, thirteen or fourteen. It will be difficult, but it is possible. We want to finally play internationally again with Werder."
