Former Everton loan signing Eric Dier starred for Sporting Lisbon on the weekend in victory over Gil Vicente.

The England U19 international impressed as one of five 'B' players to feature in the win.

Dier said: "The coach told us to play like we're in Team B. And I think we have done that. Today was a good day for the Academy and for Sporting. All players have done their maximum.

"Now let's win more often. This victory is not enough and we want more."
