Ex-Everton keeper Myhre moves to England chasing media work

Former Everton and Sunderland goalkeeper Thomas Myhre has returned to England chasing a media job.

Myhre does punditry for Norwegian TV and hopes to establish a profile in England after relocating his family to Guildford.

"At the moment, we're talking about staying here for a year. We have many acquaintances, good contacts and a nice network. The kids have been wearing school uniforms and are in full swing, but much depends if I get a job. I'm aiming for a new adventure here," he told VG.

"And I will continue as an expert for Discovery with Norwegian football in any case. I'm going to commute home on weekends.

"I have been working on TV for many years now, and have been an expert and analyst on TV2, MTG / Viasat and now Discovery. I have a desire to develop in this field, and challenge myself in another language - which I admittedly mastered after a few years earlier (in England)."
