Former Everton defender Michael Ball is convinced Dominic Calvert-Lewin can make it at Goodison Park.
Reflecting on their draw at Manchester City, Ball wrote for the Liverpool Echo: "I was actually very impressed with (Ronald) Koeman's analysis of the game - and not just because it was exactly the same as mine!
"He was honest and I liked his little wink when Calvert-Lewin was mentioned.
"I think Dominic might have knocked on his door after his game against Stoke and saying 'I did okay as a right wing-back, but I can play better as a centre-forward.'
"Koeman has probably said 'Okay then. Let's see you do it against one of the best teams in the Premier League!' And he did.
"Calvert-Lewin caused City problems and they didn't know how to handle them.
"He has shown he can do it against players of the quality of Kompany, Otamendi and John Stones - all top world class defenders."
