Former Everton defender Joleon Lescott is training with Sunderland.
The Sun says he trained with Sunderland today as David Moyes mulls over a potential move for his former centre-half.
The ex-Everton defender, 34, is a free agent after having his contract terminated by AEK Athens in November.
And Moyes admitted this morning that the Black Cats are only in the hunt for free agents or loan deals because of their limited transfer funds.
If Lescott, who was at relegated Aston Villa last season, impresses in his trial, he could join Victor Anichebe and Steven Pienaar as former Everton players who have joined Moyes for free this season.
