Former Everton defender David Weir says Ross Barkley will be a start for club and country.
Weir reckons if the 19-year-old continues to develop as he has done over the past 11 games, he could become a key figure in the plans of both Roberto Martinez and Roy Hodgson.
"Potentially he's a match-winner," Weir told talkSPORT. "He's very talented and he has got great attributes that the majority of players will never have.
"He's got all the tools to be a fantastic talent but it's still very early days for him. Ross is a sensible boy who loves his football and that will stand him in good stead."
