Tim Cahill paid tribute to Millwall's FA Cup quarter-final victory over Blackburn Rovers by posting a picture of him during his Lions playing days.
The New York Red Bull star appeared in the 2004 FA Cup when Millwall were beaten 3-0 by Manchester United and remembered that occasion after the South Londoners edged Rovers 1-0 to move through to the semi-final where they will meet Wigan Athletic on the weekend of April 13 and 14.
Cahill posted on Twitter the following message which included a link to Instagram showing him in a Millwall shirt back when he plied his trade for the Lions before he moved onto Everton.
Massive congratulations to @millwall_fc so happy to say that I wore the famous jersey. #priceless#facup instagr.am/p/W0S3dZikjG/ — Tim Cahill (@Tim_Cahill) March 14, 2013
