Former Empoli chief Pino Vitale has hailed the summer market work of Walter Sabatini.

Vitale says Sabatini has proved himself the best sports director in Italy.

He told TMW: "Roma have worked best of all. Sabatini is the best.

"Inter Milan and Juventus have rejuvenated and we'll see what its worth. Milan has played badly so far, but to judge you must wait 5-6 games.

"If the Rossoneri has spent too much? It depends on the moments of the market: Romagnoli has cost 25 million, Juventus instead took Rugani for much less but the two defenders are equal."
