Former Holland star Wim Kieft has questioned Manchester United's deal for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao. Falcao is on a season-long loan at United, but has struggled with injury.
Kieft declared to Telesport: "He was loaned for a small fortune. But he's not a (Louis) Van Gaal striker.
"He was never a true finisher. Not a (Ruud) Van Nistelrooy."
He continued: "It must be an emergency, panic maybe. And a big risk. He is coming back from a serious injury and preferred a year with AS Monaco over a longer stay at Atletico Madrid or a transfer to Chelsea. This is a purely financial choice.
"I think Falcao will therefore not add much to Manchester United if he is fit."
