Former DC United draftee Ryan Miller has won a contract with Sweden's Halmstad.

American fullback Miller joins Halmstad from Ljungskile after successful trials, having turned down rival offers to commit to the Premier Division club.

"The club has impressed me," said Miller. "The players, the coaches and the atmosphere all impressed me when I was last year for my tests. I am delighted to have the chance to play here now."
