Juan Toja has decided to remain with Greek club Aris Thessaloniki after turning down an offer from MLS club Portland Timbers.
The 26-year old Colombian winger, who has experienced MLS with FC Dallas in 2007 and 2008, was offered a deal by the Timbers according to MetroSport but will remain in Greece as he has 'unpleasant' memories of the North America league.
The report suggests that 'concerning the refusal to continue in the MLS for Portland. The 25 year old said 'no' again to the Americans, even though a lot of money was offered to him. From that it appears the money played no role in this case of Tocha, who has tried his fortunes in the MLS, without "carrying" pleasant memories of his presence in that league.'
