Former Crystal Palace captain Damien Delaney rates Ruben Loftus-Cheek the "complete player".

Delaney played with the Chelsea midfielder last season when he was on-loan at Selhurst Park.

"I hadn't realised how big he was but what really struck me when I saw him in training was how unbelievably good he was technically," Delaney told Sky Sports.

"I would say he is as close to a complete midfield player as you are going to get in the modern game. He's quick, he's strong, he retains possession and he can see a pass."
