Ex-Colorado Rapids chief Murphy joins Scotland's Livingston

Former Colorado Rapids football chief John Murphy has joined the coaching staff at Scotland's Livingston. Murphy has replaced Massimo Piloni as Livi's new goalkeeping coach.

The American arrives at the club having recently left MLS club Colorado Rapids, where he was the club's director of player development, having previously held the position of assistant coach.

In addition to his four seasons with the Rapids, Murphy also spent time working as assistant coach with Colombus Crew and with Steve Nicol at New England Revolution, in a career which spanned nine years working in America's top league.
