Chad Barrett is poised to join New England Revolution according to a recent post on his Twitter page.
The 27-year old forward has been without a club since he was released by LA Galaxy at the end of 2012 and is now on the verge of completing a move to the Revs.
“Headed to Boston to meet with New England, get a medical and sign some papers so I can finally get back doing what I do! Had a great offseason with all my friends and family. #Abouttime,” he posted.
Barrett kicked off his MLS career with Chicago Fire in 2005 before moving to Toronto FC in 2008 and then onto the Galaxy in 2011. During his time in LA, Barrett was sent on loan to Norwegian club Valerenga.
