Former Chelsea striker Gael Kakuta says he still has ambitions to return to the elite.

After spells in Spain and China, Kakuta signed for the season with Amiens, where he is impressing in Ligue 1.

"I'm fine in my head. They give me the confidence I need. It is important to feel loved," he said.

"I want to have a good season with Amiens.

"Afterwards, we will see what can happen, because I have the ambition to join a big European club."
