Former Chelsea striker Diego Costa is kicking up a fuss over Atletico Madrid's wage scale, it has been revealed.

Marca reports he is demanding parity with fellow frontman Antoine Griezmann.

And if it doesn't come then he could be willing to take advantage of the riches on offer in the Far East.

Costa is believed to earn around £7million a year with Atleti.

World Cup winner Griezmann, who signed a new contract in June which sees him remain at the club until 2023, pockets around £17.5m.

Costa jokingly labelled Griezmann a "b*****d" when commenting on the Frenchman's new deal and how much money he will make.
