Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has welcomed the imminent signing of Diego Costa.
Diego Costa is expected to soon join Chelsea from Atletico Madrid.
"It's a great acquisition for Chelsea," Cascarino told talkSPORT. "You only have to look at the relationship between Drogba and Frank Lampard in Jose Mourinho's most successful team. You see a forward who could hold the ball up and create things. That then helps the midfielder get goals. Chelsea haven't had a relationship like that since.
"Demba Ba does it OK but he doesn't do it to the level Jose Mourinho wants. Costa will give him that."
