Ex-Chelsea star Hasselbaink: Better kids in England than in Holland at present

Former Leeds United and Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes there is better talent in England than in Holland at the moment.

The Dutchman, who is currently first team coach with Nottingham Forest, has monitored youth level football since his retirement from the game in 2008 and feels that the English are producing better players in their national team ranks at the moment than their usually more productive counterparts Holland.

"I think there is more talent coming through in England at the moment than there is in Holland," he said.

"It's very important too, because you're playing for your nation and you're playing against the best players in the world at that age.

"So you're testing yourself and developing yourself."
