Former Chelsea star Joe Cole is convinced Jose Mourinho will bring success to Manchester United.

Cole, who worked his Mourinho in his first spell at Stamford Bridge, is confident that he will be given time to turn United around.

When asked if Mourinho has lost his magic, Cole told talkSPORT: "No, I don't think so.

"He's been so successful over the last 20 years and it has been consistent.

"The ball hasn't started rolling at Man United yet, which is a new experience for him.

"I think he'll get time, I think he'll turn it round.

"I've been watching them and I do genuinely think they've been a little bit unlucky.

"I felt they should have won games they've drew and the league would look a little bit better for them."
