Carlo Ancelotti is yet to hear from Liverpool in regards to their managerial vacancy.
The Anfield club removed Brendan Rodgers from his post in the wake of Sunday's 1-1 Merseyside derby draw with Everton.
Former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp and ex-Chelsea, Real Madrid manager Ancelotti have immediately been installed as favourites to replace Rodgers but the Italian says he has not been contacted by the Reds.
"I have not had any offer from Liverpool," Ancelotti told The Express.
Ancelotti left his role at Madrid last summer and planned to take a year out of the management game.
