Yossi Benayoun has been given the all-clear to join QPR after obtaining a work permit.

The 33-year old Israeli midfielder, formerly of West Ham United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, required a fresh UK working visa to remain playing in England which has now been granted.

Benayoun has signed an 18-month deal with the R's, joining on a free transfer, and should be available for selection when the second-placed Championship side takes on third-placed Leicester City on December 21.
