Ex-Chelsea keeper pitches up at Bradford

Former Chelsea stopper Lenny Pidgeley has joined League Two outfit Bradford City on a short-term contract, reports Sporting Life. The 26-year-old had spent the week training with the Bantams and impressed enough during a reserve-team outing against Sheffield United for manager Peter Taylor to offer him a two-month deal.

Lloyd Saxton has been Bradford's second-choice keeper all season behind Jon McLaughlin, but an injury to Saxton means Pidgeley will be in the squad against Oxford.
