Former Chelsea fullback Chapi Ferrer has been named new coach of Cordoba.

Ferrer's last coaching job was in Holland with Vitesse Arnhem in 2011.

Ferrer joined Chelsea from Barcelona and spent five years in London, winning the FA Cup, Cup Winners' Cup and European Super Cup.
