LA Galaxy coach Ruud Gullit has backed his old AC Milan boss Fabio Capello for the England job.

Gullit told talkSPORT: "If he gets the job I think so because he is disciplined. He drills you and sometimes you need that.

"He did very well with AC Milan when he took over so I think he will do well.

"He is a very disciplined guy, he is a winner, he wants to win.

"They are going to work on a lot of the defensive tasks they have to do. Of course attacking is important but if you can't defend yourself you are going to be vulnerable.

"He wants you to do what he thinks is important to do, if you don't he can be a little bit moody."
