Former Chelsea boss Avram Grant will be shocked if Manchester United sold Wayne Rooney.Chelsea are favourites to sign the unsettled England striker.

"On paper he looks like a very promising player but I don't know if it will happen," Grant told talkSPORT.

"Wayne Rooney can play at any big club. I think [a move] would be good for Chelsea but not good for Manchester United.

"He's at a very good age. He's won a lot of titles and he has scored a lot of goals as a key player at Man United."
