It has been revealed that former Chelsea manager Avram Grant has emerged on the managerial shortlist of FC Twente.
The Dutch club sacked Co Adriaanse on Tuesday and are now on the hunt for his replacement with Grant joining former Twente boss Steve McClaren as two names who are possibilities of taking the job.
Grant, who guided the Blues to the 2007/08 Champions League final, has been without a management role since he was axed by West Ham United in May 2011 and faces competition from ex-England and Middlesbrough boss McClaren who led Twente to the 2009/10 Eredivise title before departing for German outfit Wolfsburg and then onto Nottingham Forest.
