Former Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto di Matteo is in the frame for the Switzerland job.
The Swiss are beginning their search for Ottmar Hitzfeld's successor, who will leave the post after the World Cup next summer.
Di Matteo continues living in London, where he is still on the payroll of Chelsea.
