Former Chelsea manager Bobby Campbell has been handed a scouting role by the club.

The London Evening Standard says the 75-year-old will now be helping out with scouting and youth development but he has had an influence on club matters for some time anyway.

Campbell, who was manager of the Blues between 1988-91, has been close to owner Roman Abramovich ever since he bought the club 10 years ago.
