Tal Ben Haim has signed a two-year deal with Belgian club Standard Liege according to reports.

The 31-year old Israeli defender left QPR earlier this summer and has now joined Les Rouches of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

"The club reached an agreement with the Israeli defender this afternoon," read a statement on the club's official website.

"The player has signed a contract for two seasons with Les Rouches."

Since leaving Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2004, Ben Haim has spent his career in England playing for Bolton, Chelsea, Manchester City, Sunderland, Portsmouth, West Ham United and the R's.
