Former Chelsea assistant manager Ray Wilkins believes Old Trafford is the perfect venue for the players to really impose themselves on Manchester United.
Ahead of tonight's Champions League quarter-final clash, which United leads 1-0 from the first leg, Wilkins said that the wide open spaces of the famous pitch can assist the Blues in continuing their fairly good recent form there.
"Over the years Chelsea have loved playing there and a simple reason why is they have a group of players who love to retain possession of the ball away from home," Wilkins told Standard Sport.
"It is a very good playing surface and the pitch is huge so Chelsea have an opportunity to play their football.
"They can impose their game on United.
"We saw this last season when they won 2-1 which was a key factor in us winning the title. That victory will hold them in good stead tonight.
"Ninety per cent of the country have already written them off and that will be another incentive for these players to perform and prove people wrong."
