Ex-Charlton, West Ham boss Curbishley out of running for Wolves role

Alan Curbishley has withdrawn his name from the Wolves managerial race.

The former Charlton Athletic and West Ham United boss had an interview with the Molineux club but will not become the Mick McCarthy's replacement after he could not come to an agreement with chairman Steve Morgan.

Curbishley's decision to pull out leaves for Sunderland manager Steve Bruce as the most likely to fill the void at Wolverhampton.
