Former Celtic winger Momo Sylla has revealed that he did not think departing Chelsea ace Didier Drogba would make it at the top as a footballer.
The Ivory Coast-born Guinea international was at the Hoops between 2001 and 2005 but during his time there he instructed Drogba not to join the club before he left Marseille for the Blues because he feared he would not get a game.
"Celtic had Henrik Larsson, Chris Sutton and John Hartson - three world-class strikers."
He added: "I have no regrets about him not joining Celtic. It wasn't his destiny. He might not have gone on to become the player he is now.""I didn't think that Didier would get in the team and I told him that," Sylla said.
