Former Celtic star Andy Walker can see Virgil van Dijk leaving at the end of the season.

The Holland defender has been linked with Arsenal, Tottenham, Southampton and Newcastle United this season.

Walker also expects on-loan Manchester City defender Jason Denayer to leave.

"The fans of Celtic will, in the middle of the Champions League qualifying rounds, be in suspense waiting to see what among others Denayer and Van Dijk will do.

"They have performed great this season and it would appear that a club will soon want to pay decent money for Van Dijk.

"And you cannot blame Denayer if he wants to return to City, but it is unfortunate that in this way Celtic are coaching players for other clubs and not for themselves."
