Ex-Celtic defender McKinlay: Lennon will jump at Sunderland job

Former Celtic defender Tosh McKinlay believes Neil Lennon would jump at the Sunderland job.

Sunderland are seeking a new manager following the dismissal of Paolo di Canio.

"I think Neil Lennon would take the job," McKinlay told talkSPORT.

"He's done a fantastic job at Celtic, he's got them into the Champions League proper again this season, despite a number of key players leaving.

"It's no wonder he's being linked with big clubs."
