Former Celtic, Barcelona and Manchester United striker Henrik Larsson has been appointed coach of Swedish second division club Landskrona.
The 38-year old said that he was surprised with the appointment considering his lack of experience in the management caper but was excited about the opportunity.
"I am very flattered by this offer, given that I don't have any bigger experience as a coach," Larsson said in a press conference for his unveiling.
"I look forward to it (the job) and we'll see where I can take this," added Larsson, who ended his playing career with home club Helsingborg in October.
"I know this will be an incredibly tough challenge for me. But if you don't dare, you don't win anything. It's an interesting club, they have an idea and thoughts about the future. They know what they want."
