Pablo Contreras has emerged as a transfer target for A-League club Melbourne Victory.
The 35-year old Chilean centre-back is the subject of an offer from the Victory and is believed to be considering then proposal according to the Herald Sun.
Contreras has previously played in his homeland with Colo-Colo, with French club Monaco, in Spain with Celta Vigo and Osasuna, with Portuguese outfits Sporting Lisbon and Braga and in Greece with PAOK and Olympiakos.
The two-time A-League champions are believed to have a contingency plan in case Contreras rejects the offer.
