Ange Postecoglou is close to agreeing a deal with Melbourne Victory he has revealed.
The 46-year old has quit his post as Brisbane Roar head coach after back-to-back A-League Premierships and is now on the verge of finalising a move to the Victory to return to Melbourne where he had so much success with South Melbourne in the old NSL.
"I didn't want to talk about the future today, even in Brisbane, because I want to be respectful to the club that I have coached.
"It's important I close that chapter in the right way because the club deserves that, the supporters deserve that, and then I can talk about my future when and if it's decided.""There's no secret about where I'm likely to end up. There are some things that still need to be finalised and hopefully they will over the next couple of days," he said on Fox Sports FC.
