German national team legend Torsten Frings has been offered to Rangers according to recent reports.
The 34-year old defensive midfielder has finished up at Werder Bremen and it is believed that he is eyeing a shift to Ibrox.
Frings, who has played his entire career in his homeland with two spells at Bremen as well as time with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, would provide plenty of experience to the 'Gers squad.
He played in the 2002 and 2006 World Cups, amassing 70 caps with Die Mannschaft and would be a welcome addition for Ally McCoist even if he only plays the one season for the Glasgow giants.
