David Odonkor is currently on trial with Rangers after his deal with Spanish club Real Betis expired.
The 27-year old German winger will spend the next few days training with the Scottish champions as manager Ally McCoist looks to bring in some more quality to his title-defending squad.
Odonkor, who has represented Germany on 16 occasions, rose to prominence when he was at Borussia Dortmund before making a £5.25million switch to Betis in 2006 but has struggled with knee injuries since.
