Former Premier League defender Abdoulaye Meite has joined Championship club Ipswich Town on trial.
The 31-year old Ivory Coast international will spend a week with the Tractor Boys after leaving French club Dijon with manager Paul Jewell running the rule over him.
"Abdoulaye has come in and he will be training with us this week," Jewell told Town's official website of the former Marseille, Bolton and West Bromwich Albion centre-back.
"He came in on Monday and he'll be in again tomorrow. We're looking at him for a week and we will see where things go."
