Former Bolton Wanderers striker Jared Borgetti says Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is the wrong man for Mexico.

City are expected to give Sven the boot this week and Mexico are ready to offer him the job.

But record scorer Borgetti said: "It has to be a man who knows our football. South America is very different to Europe."
