Ex-Bolton boss Megson rejected Ipswich job

Former Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson turned down the job at Ipswich Town.

The Sun says Megson turned down the Ipswich job before Paul Jewell was appointed.

Megson was flown by private jet from Yorkshire to the home of multi-millionaire Tractor Boys owner Marcus Evans last Tuesday.

Ipswich offered the former Bolton boss a 2½-year deal worth £500,000 a year. But he said no.
