Former Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is wanted at Wigan Athletic.

The Daily Star says Coyle is the favourite to be named the new Wigan boss.

Roberto Martinez resigned from the post last week and is expected to be unveiled at Everton in the coming days.

Ex-Bolton boss Coyle has been out of work since October and has admitted he's flattered to be linked with the FA Cup winners.
